Work Experience
Family Medicine (Practice) Physician 1985 – 2002
- Completed Residency at UTMB, Galveston, Texas. Practiced rural medicine in a multi specialty group in Silverton, Idaho.
- Opened a solo Family Medicine Practice in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
- Later, merged with North Idaho Immediate Care until retiring from medical practice in 2002.
- Practice as an old fashioned General Practitioner – delivered babies, cared for newborns, provided hospital care for patients, assisted in surgeries, enjoyed a busy office practice.
Professor of Anatomy & Physiology 2003-2018
- Began teaching A&P labs part time at North Idaho College before becoming full-time tenured professor.
- Taught Pharm Tech, general Biology, Anatomy and Physiology lectures and labs.
- Started and taught the Cadaver Dissection Program.
- Was Pre-Med counselor and faculty sponsor for the Health Professions Club.
- Retired in 2018
